Hi,
Following on from the notification Microsoft will be asking us all whether or not to stick with IE (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/technology/8524019.stm). Is there any benefit in moving to other explorers such as Firefox???
Is there anybody with their NS on Firefox or chrome??

Hi Lisa,
What version of NS are you using? From 6.5 there have been various levels of intergration, have a look at the link below:

By the way will we be seeing you at the forum meet?

Sharepoint 2007 Licensing

Wanted to clarify with those who have deployed Sharepoint 2007.
If I have 1500 Sharepoint end-users, I was informed that I would need to purchase 1500 CALs for Sharepoint + 1500 CALs for Windows Server + 1500 CALs for MS SQL Server.
If this is true, the CAL requirement for Windows Server and SQL Server sounds “unfair” because the end-users will never use Windows Servers services nor will they access the database directly
Hope someone can shed some light or provide a link that explicitly mentions this CAL requirement for all three software.

Great Forum….
I have mentioned this to colleagues to get the user numbers up, I understand this site is in its infancy but numbers need to grow to turn this in to more of a support forum as well as a chat forum.
More of the same lets hope.
